[Movies] Rambo V Changes Course
Posted by Ashish on 11.13.2009

Sylvester Stallone recently told StalloneZone that the previously reported on plot for Rambo V -- Rambo teaming up with Special Forces to track down a genetically-engineered man-beast in the Arctic -- has been changed.

"Rambo has changed course and the story about hunting the man/beast will be done using another character in the lead. Rambo himself will be heading over the border to a violent city where many young women have vanished. There will be blood."

Well either Stallone realized his original idea was crap...or he decided his old bones couldn't take the cold. Rambo 4 was cool hope he doesn't spiral down again like he did the first time around.

That was suppose to be the plot of the latest Rambo before they changed it.

Good thing too, that man-beast story sounded fucking stupid for a Rambo movie.

The "there will be blood" (sounds like Lizzy Borden the band) line is funny, it's Rambo! Of course there will be blood.

Thankfully they dropped that storyline! I'll follow Rambo anywhere, but a manbeast...kinda out there.

There will be blood...SOLD!

Its good to know that man/beast will be hunted by a lesser known hero.

Okay, excitement for Rambo V returning.

Not gonna lie, Rambo sounds like its jumping the shark with 5. Fighting a man-beast? Really? Why not just have him fight a terminator and get it over with.

" Rambo himself will be heading over the border to a violent city where many young women have vanished."

And that violent city from across the border where many young women have vanished is called Ciudad Juarez.

Amazing.

I still can't believe that the criminals behind such deeds have not been caught, but maybe Rambo will put a stop to that. I hope.

I guess Stallone was reading comments on this site. I still want to see Rambo V anyways but the original plan(the border and narco-traffic story)is the way to go.

I saw Taken. Wished I hadn't.

Good move. That Man-beast idea had to be some moron that thinks Megatron is better off being a plane, or Batman's dad should be killed by the Joker, or some stupid shit like that.
